We select plants based on your property's sun exposure, soil type, drainage patterns, and the mature size of each species — avoiding the common mistake of planting too close together or choosing species that will outgrow their space within a few years.

We source our plant material from reputable regional nurseries that grow stock adapted to USDA Hardiness Zones 7b and 8a, which cover the Sanford, Pinehurst, and Southern Pines areas. This means the plants we install are already acclimated to our heat, humidity, and occasional winter cold snaps. Our selections include a mix of evergreen foundation plants for year-round structure, flowering shrubs for seasonal color, ornamental grasses for texture, and groundcovers for low-maintenance bed coverage.

Every installation includes proper planting technique — digging holes to the correct depth and width, amending backfill soil as needed, applying root stimulator, and mulching around each plant. We also set up temporary watering schedules for new installations and provide a care guide specific to the plants we have installed. For larger landscape projects, we can create a phased installation plan that spreads the investment over multiple seasons while building toward a cohesive final design.
